• Reading DeLillo’s Ratner’s Star and nonfiction on Linux.
• Learning Linux - presently using Mint 4.0. Having trouble getting my fancy soundcard to work even primitively.
• Completing grad school app. Coming right along. If you want to write me a letter of recommendation, email me. Just kidding. But not really.
• Tonight we’re going to Milwaukee to see Michael Pollan speak on his new book.
• The band is going to SXSW. We also have a gig at Double Door on 01/24. Come. Bring friends.
• Chrismas was good. I was warmly welcomed at all events. Missed my own family. Ate more indulgent foods at work than I’ve ever had in a holiday season by far. No visible effect.
• Writing, making music. Bill is coming this weekend. We’re getting real minimal. Hopefully we’ll get some stuff up.
